Cameron Brackett – Chief Information Officer

With over 20 years of engineering experience, served as VP of Memphis Bioworks Foundation where he provided leadership to the MidSouth eHealth Alliance. Previously, Director of R&D Honeywell Life Care. In addition he worked with a number of Asian-Pacific companies leading the exploration of global healthcare technology Joint Venture opportunities. Prior he led the reinvention of both Cardiology and Patient Monitoring R&D at Cerner. During his tenure, he helped start Cerner India, launched Cerner Cardiology in Australia, and jointly developed the industry changing DICOM ECG for the Electronic Health Record with Mortara Instrument. He holds over 30 issued patents world-wide, and recently served as Industry Chair for the Carnegie Mellon University Quality of Life Technology center. During his engineering career, he served as Chairman of DICOM Working Group 8 (Structured Reporting), was a charter member of Integrating the Healthcare Enterprises (IHE) Cardiology, and authored IHE’s first Echocardiography technical profile.
